First, we’d like to give a heartfelt thank you to the Fort Lauderdale planning committee for delivering such a fun, loving, and unforgettable 2025 reunion! The memories, laughter, and spirit of togetherness were truly special.

Now, it’s time to look ahead and officially kick off registration for the 88th Bates-Ingram Family Reunion, happening June 18–21, 2026 at the Tropicana Casino and Resort in beautiful Atlantic City, New Jersey, recently named among 10 best boardwalks in the country by Fodor, a national travel website! Attached to this letter, you’ll find the official registration form, which includes all the details you need for submitting fees, ordering t-shirts, placing ads in the souvenir booklet, our family reunion website, and reserving your spot for an unforgettable weekend of love, laughter, and legacy. Important Notes:

• All registration forms and payments are due by May 28, 2026. NO WALK-INS PERMITTED
• One souvenir bag per registration submission. Any attendee who does not reside in the same household, should submit a separate registration form if he/she needs a souvenir bag.
• The dress code for Saturday night’s dinner is business casual. The Family Reunion color is blue.
• EACH person is responsible for transportation to and from the airport if you are taking a car service from the airport, please tell them to take you to The Palm at the Tropicana Casino and Resort
• Each person is also responsible for paying for all activities, outside of the banquet, picnic, and Sunday breakfast.
• It is the responsibility of the family to contact the resort for personal preferences and any disability or special needs if any are required.
• Parking is $20/day, with the ability to exit/re-enter the garage for a 24-hour period.

Help Us Stay on Track: We’re asking families to register early if possible. Your early registration helps us secure room blocks, catering, and event spaces in advance.

Room rates per night are as follows: Thursday $122.29, Friday $197.29, Saturday $242.74 and Sunday $122.29. These include all taxes and resort fees. Note that your room confirmation receipt may not include the resort fee. For the deposit, the resort will charge you for the first night of your stay. Cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to your stay.

At check in, the resort will hold a $150 deposit for incidentals to be returned based on use. IMPORTANT: The resort will not honor pricing if booked after May 28, 2026!

Bonus for Early Birds: If your registration fees are paid in full by February 1, you’ll receive a FREE quarter-page ad in the reunion booklet — a great way to promote your business, honor a loved one, or share a message with the family.
